It's because they want to LICK everything. The shopping cart is the worst. I tuck a blanket so that they can't POSSIBLY touch any part of the cart, but they are squirrly and next thing you know they have turned around completely in the cart, have picked up an item, and are licking/chewing it. All in the amount of time it took you to bend down and pick up a box of cereal. It's baffling.
I looked over yesterday, and there was Aiden, LICKING the fireplace.
BUSTED!!!!
"What, am I not supposed to lick the fireplace?"
